SUMMER 2010 ANIME

Postby microgamer2vs2 » Thu Jul 01, 2010 8:53 pm

I felt like starting this. What are you watching this season?

I checked out the first ep of Ookamisan, it seemed really stereotypical to me, but I'll watch a couple more episodes. Other than that I plan on watching/looking into Highschool of the Dead, Shiki (just 'cause it was a Snoopy-scanlated manga), and CatShitOne. I'd totally be watching Strike Witches 2, but I've yet to finish the first season.

i don't know about this season... i'm only looking forward to the gundam 00 movie right now. new digimon season though, but i'm wary of it. still gonna give it a try though. i might give high school of the dead a try as well even though i haven't read the manga nor am i particularly a fan of zombie stuff.

Highschool of the Dead kinda reminds me of a hentai by the name of Kansen Inyoku no Rensa... similar except replace zombies with a hormone to promote horneyness.

HAHA I never watched it. Just read the synopsis on the back of the box. Though I will give the show a couple episodes to get better than the first. Zombies + Fanservice = Necrophelia?

I am sure there was, along with fanservice from girls being eatin by zombies and from girls fighting said zombies. What makes it worse is the fanservice is at the worst parts of the show which makes me wonder if it is geared towards people with gore fettish or that kind of stuffs. I will still watch it.

First episode of Shiki is out. Animation seems pretty low budget. Still gonna keep up with it.

Shiki is pretty good. The pacing is a bit off though. Episodes where the plot actually develops significantly are scattered between 1-2 episodes of people just dying. Anyone who is caught up with the Shiki manga want to comment on the pacing of this show? I think that, and some inconsistent animation are the only things preventing me from really liking this show.
