So I was playing around with Lucky Star Moe Drill today at school. (Was in math class, and felt bad about playing DS all period, so I thought Moe Drill would be a decent compromise, and I finally learned how to write 5s)

And it's the audio drama cast...
Ryou-chan >>>>>>>>> Aya-chan. She is so much more Konata, IMHO. As for Chiwa being Yui... Well, I love Chiwa, but I still thought Yui's anime seiyuu was just as good. She just wasn't Chiwa!

Kagami's anime seiyuu I prefer, indeed her audio drama seiyuu is a bit too cute. It doesn't fit. And I haven't heard Tsukasa or Mitsuki.

It has a lot of characters I don't know, like some pink twin-tailed girl (Seems to be voiced by Tomoko Kaneda) who is like the only playable character right now (Along with Konata) and some annoying Gaijin chick. I assume she was a gaijin, she had the gaijin accent (Dessuuuuuu) And no I don't mean cute Desu a-la Suisei Seiki, I mean, the 'I don't know how to pronounce Desu' kind.
And some cute short haired girl that seems to like Konata...
The Do-ra-ma mo-do starts with Konata playing an eroge!
At first I thought it was going to be like an eroge too. Cuz like, they don't tell you. And I could see the date in the top corner and I was like 'Oh god, is it going to be one of those kind of game?!?!' but then that Pink Twintail walks in on her and Konata gets all pissy

Oh, Kuroi-sensei was in it too. She didn't sound much diferent from her anime seiyuu.

There's a bit where you play Konata as a waitress and you need to remember people's orders. Kinda hard when you can't read japanese. I'd just memorize the two first characters and work with that ;P

There's a lot of games in it, I assume, from the gya-rari (Took me a while to realise that meant Galery) mode. But like, I played through a whole drama mode story and it didn't unlock anything at all... And it never gave me a multiple choice. So I'm at a loss... Beside, it seems that there's even japanese tests in it, so there's no way I'd even handle those

The math part is fun, beside for those long divisions and multiplications. I need a sheet of paper to work out anything that bigger than X * Y (Beside a few well known exceptions) I'm not bad at math, I'm really good at it, but I'm not good at calculus.

actually, I got my hand on vol 1~4 manga, and the early 4komas in vol 1 gave me the image of a more calm and cute Konata... In fact, I think that Ryo Hirohashi suits better the 4koma version while Aya Hirano suits better the anime version... ah also, there was some times in the Drama CD when Ryo's voice kinda reminded me of Miyako (tasukete please~)... now that I think of it, maybe Miyako's seiyuu would have been the best choice overally... but indeed Ryo dubbing the anime would have been great too...

she really doesn't appear that much in the 4koma, mostly in the Drama CD (ouch my ears T_T )

hope anime version will be less irritating... isn't someone who learned japanese with manga and anime has a decent accent ? even someone who never hear somebody speaking japanese wouldn't screw the accent that much... or it's just because she's a gaijin character... or just because she's american...

I wish I could play it...

Jer, Of course not, Ghada never woulda let me. And I don't have Ghada anymore. They sacked her. I'm with Gervaise most of the time. Xep tuesday... HENRY!
So that's why I pretty just play DS in his class the whole period. I mean, he doesn't care. While in Gervaise's class I hafta work at all time. So I use Henry's class a free period

Anyway, Joe, It's a comedic gaijin accent. Ever watched any english stuff, foreigners also have pretty awfull english... Fake Japanese is awfull

That reminds me...Rib, you might want to check out another mystery series, Master Keaton. It's based on a manga by Naoki Urasawa, so fans of 20th Century Boys and Monster would probably dig it too~

I got all eight DVDs from that huge Geneon sale at Rightstuf last year, and I've been enjoying it so far.
